Austin, Texas-February 10, 2003- Raak Technologies, the leading provider of WLAN device authentication solutions, today announced the signing of an Alliance, Reseller and Sales Representation Agreement with SchlumbergerSema.
Founded in January 2002, Raak Technologies provides client software and cards or tokens to enable employees, customers and business partners to positively identify themselves when accessing a network or an application.
In concert with the SchlumbergerSema Agreement, Raak is launching through its Web site (www.raaktechnologies.com) the T8 USB Smart Token, and the C7 Smart Card. Both the TA USB Smart Token and the C7 Smart Card provide two factor authentication via a user changeable PIN, and a user specific digital certificate.
Based on SchlumbergerSema’s highly successful E-Gate product, the T8 USB Smart Token delivers a cost effective smart card that fits in a compact USB package.
The Raak C7 Smart Card is a cost effective and powerful cryptographic smart card specifically designed for Windows applications and network security.
